The trick to getting more giraffe to your field is to leave a few alive. If you wipe out all the giraffe, new ones will show up in 1-2 minutes. But if you have a few on the field, new ones will come quicker. Leaving 3 or 4 giraffes seems to work the best.

Also, leaving the game for 5-10 minutes will let you come back to a full field of giraffe. However, once they’ve reached the max. number (10) available on the field at once, you won’t get more even if you leave the game for longer.

How do you play I Am Giraffe in 2016?
 Like its predecessor, the point of I am Giraffe is to get your mutant giraffe to evolve by absorbing the bodies of other giraffes. This is done in two simple steps. Step 1: Tap on another giraffe to knock it out. Step 2: Tap again on the knocked out giraffe to absorb it. Each absorbed giraffe is worth 3 XP. Your mutant giraffe will evolve when the XP meter is full.
