Every time i try to sign into fortnite using the xbox button i get this message that says "please log in you must be externally authenticated to upgrade your account.". Whole fortnite had been reset! i contacted epic games and they told me i had to link my ps4 to a brand new epic games account so when i pressed link playstation it said ''you need to be externally authenticated to link your account so i told epic and they told me to contact you!. In the very near future, you’ll be able to unlink a game console from one epic games account and link it to a different account, which is perfect if you haven’t spent too much time on.
3) once you sign in create a new epic games account using the psn that said it was connected essentially when you first launch fortnite, if you don’t connect it to epic games, it creates a ghost account that is tethered to the psn.. What happened to me was i had an account with skins on my ps4.then i disconnected the account on epic games site (i don't know why i did) then on my fortnite it said i should sign in or skip i chose skip (i don't know why i did again) then it took me to an account with no skins. what do i do if its says please log in you must be externally.
